Bakkt, which is linked to Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), drew zero last week on its recently launched bitcoin option contracts. Last week, that is, between January 20-24, Bakkt saw zero trading volume, according to data found on the ice website.

According to data provided by Skew, the platform has not traded for options in the last 10 days. The reason ice gave different data than skew was because skew included weekends in the data. Looking at trading days will be a more accurate way, according to The Block.

CME Group, the rival of the famous crypto trading platform, continues to be heavily interested in bitcoin options. At CME, 59 options contracts were opened last week, according to data on the group's website. CME Group Managing Director Tim McCourt said they were pleased with the first day of trading and the feedback from market participants was “fantastic.”
